England with the most dominant performance of the tournament to date. Those with long memories will recall how Australia laboured to victory over a tough and gritty Oman side, but England dispatched them with ease in one of the most comprehensive IT20 victories of all-time/

Class is permanent, as is England’s grasp on the trophy. It’s staying home.

As Australia know only too well from the 50 over World Cup, it's not how you start tournaments, it's how you finish them. Somewhat surprised to see Australia peaking too early, thought they knew better....
Bit of a stretch to suggest beating you guys was our 'peak'.

Unlike me, Australia don't often peak and finish early on the chest. Of course a team that required home umpires to win a WC against our little brother would only be able to look at our glorious trophy cabinet from a third person perspective.

We know a thing or two about winning T20 World Cups and we certainly don't require the toss of a coin to do it for us.

We know a thing or two about winning world cups.

We certainly don't require the nomination of a certain format to validate that statement.

You have to move with the times, whether we like it or not, T20 is now the Daddy of World Cups. In a few years time, when the 50 over World Cup has been discontinued, Australia will be thankful that Finch won a couple of coin tosses in a Covid farce.

Hazlewoods comments about the Scotland game show what we all know - the Aussies are scared of us.

As usual only the Aussie's cheating ways can stop England now.
