A good OD win, we seem to be doing quite well there...

Get into it boys, this season has been flat from the majority of us (me included) in terms of activity and contribution. We have got a real chance of capturing at least one title!

Haha no worries Trav, I got dumped from ODers pretty quickly too.

Awesome performance though guys, absolute thrashing. Weird how we're top of the OD table yet rock bottom of the FC table with not much hope!

It'd be a better season if we could win league and the final in OD.

We've done pretty well in the OD department this season, and now that we have our full strength squad, it means certain places have high competition. Essentially Demeza and Young are in direct competition with the returning Goff and Halsey.

Much respect for the job you guys have done this season though. You've both stepped up when it really mattered.

hrmm, well if i'm competing with Tom (one of the best one day bowlers around) I don't think i'll be playing another one dayer this season!

I think realistically that you're competing with Collins, Dunn and McKern. Smith's set himself as our lead OD seamer right now, and Halsey's obviously one of the best in the business. With Currie also a regular member of the team now, there's room for one other seamer in there, and several guys who could fill the spot.

Yea, the reason I mentioned Halsey is that he returned from ODI duty and basically took Demeza's spot. In general Travis is competing with Collins though, of those in the first XI at the moment. That said, I think there will be a measure of rotation for that second seamer spot, as all four of Collins, Dunn, McKern and Demeza have done a good job there.

Dunn in particular has been remarkably impressive. He really held the team together in a couple of matches when we had no batsmen. It's a tough world as a Blue seamer.

Liam, if we're searching for someone to partner Young at the top of the order, I'm keen to have a go. I scored a few centuries opening last season, and my batting form in the middle order this year in the longer form has been absolutely terrible. At the very least, it can't get worse.

I reckon we'll be fine, Armstrong, Cloete, Currie & Cribb'll do the job though slightly embarrassed that I'm fifth in the batting order when we're missing about 6 batsmen.
