congradamalations. you do IMO, you have many quality players. its just that most of them have a mental age of four. :)
Excuse me Nathan! I"d like it be known right now that my pediatrician said I have the mental age of at least a 6 year old!

Big problems even this early in the season. Much cause for concern.
Some key stats...

Nath Patrick averages 188.00 after 2 FC games. He has been economical, but just lacked the penetration needed as the spearhead of the Blue attack.

Adam Collins averages 38.00 alongside Patrick. Sharing the new ball, Collins can be considered the second senior bowler, albeit in his sophomore season.

Only one batsman has crossed 100 runs overall this season! Sudeep Popat (97) is second after Sean Fuller's 205.

Three players (Young, Cribb and Phillips) are yet to score a fielding point this season. Popat and Patrick have negative fielding ratings.

The highest wicket-taker this season is Tom Halsey... with 5!

Two players have scored half-centuries - Fuller and Fitzsimmons. Fitzsimmons has scored 13 runs in his 3 innings other than his season-opening half-century.

There are positives though...

Tom Halsey has averaged 26.80 with a great economy rate at the start of the season on the PDV Dome track.

Phillips and Fuller have both bowled well with varying levels of success.

Young Fuller averages 51.25 at the start of his FC career, scoring 2 fifties in his 4 innings.

Dylan Jellett has the tidiest glovework rating among 'keepers.

Right folks... we've lost 3 of 3. It's not the end of the world though, for it's not even the end of the season. Keep faith, chin up, spirits high and we'll get to where we want to be.

Well, I'm thrilled with my start. Just waiting on that first win... surely we can manage it soon. We have a side full of talent.

Well, this upcoming OD is against the Greens, so I think you guys are in with a chance. ;)
we r badly out of form at the moment, winning isnt everything at this stage, id be happy if we can just put in better performances in the next few games, after that the wins will take care of themselves...

Hm, also, no offence, but that dinu23 kid is an idiot...

So who are your CW XI players? Will you get that much of a boost when they come back?

Perhaps I should get more of a bowl in FC matches. Im expensive, but I definately do take wickets.

Im not whinging by any means, its just that my batting has been so ordinary (although I showed more promise today, at least I was getting starts) that I would like to contribute in some way, espcially since I havent scored a fielding point!! I definately feel like my place is in danger with the Cricket Web XI players returning, so I'd like to showcase my ability with the ball - especially to break a big partnership (my loopy leggies normally do the trick to set batsmen. They normally think they can slog it right from the word go.)

Anyway, Im happy to play any role you wish as long as it helps to the success of the team.

The best Batsman in the CWxi system, Andrew Cloete is due back, as is Liam...

Great win guys. I'd like particularly to congratulate Patrick on his return to form, and Demeza on a quality debut performance. Let's follow it up with another win in the next five day match.

GREAT WIN! Top performance there fellas. It's great to finally be on the board, now let's make it two!

Top performance from Halsey, sublime! Great to see Nath doing a top job once again.

And then some top support from Demeza(Congrats on your debut!), Phillips and Fuller!

Well done to Cribb for his 76 and good support from both Dylan and Simon!

My thoughts for the team for the next 5D...

SJ Fitzsimmons *
BL Wilshere
RGEWS Cribb
PE Young
A Crampton +
SE Fuller
SC Popat
TC Halsey
MP Phillips
AAA Collins
NL Patrick

That's Crampton given a shot with the gloves and Jellett given a reality check. Young moves to #4 to stabilize the middle order and Wilsher brought in and set to play the anchor role opening alongside Fitzsimmons. I liked the look of Cribb at #3 in the last game, so I'd back him there. Patrick and Collins remain as they're proven bowlers who deserve another shot. Still, it's time to step up.

How does that look guys? All suggestions and comments (by BLUE players) are welcome.

It feels so good to finally convert one my starts!

I seemed to be getting 20-35 every innings (except my FC debut, where I failed miserably!), and now Ive finally converted.

I just hope I can carry the form into the FC area as well.
