To rip off the black thread ...... what does everyone want to achieve this year?

Myself is to try and rack up 100 FC wickets!
Batting? Nah, that;s over rated.


One dayers I'd like to get a game at some stage, and that's about it ;)

In the longer form, I'd like to find consistency with the bat and start to convert some of my bigger scores, to hopefully justify my position as a batsman alone. In the shorter form I'd like to be more economical with the ball and hopefully make the world cup squad.

Beyond that, I'd like to see us into the finals again. We've definately got the lineup to do it, and since I'm likely to be leading a bit this year I'm especially keen to see us fulfill our potential as a team.

A regular place in the OD side though I can't see it happening to be honest with the strength we have and possibly crack 1,000 runs in FC as I'm no longer involved in internationals.

Also, to win the league again (obviously) but also keep up those performances in the trophy finals as I was gutted last year. Other than that, help the new guys settle in and aid in the development of the current squad members so they can fulfil their potential.

COME ON BLUES! Let's get pumped up! Rah.

I`d love to bowl consistently well this season, and really be a senior player for the Blues. I`d love to play for the CWXI in the One-Dayers if given the chance, but helping the Blues to a title of some kind is a top priority.

The batting has been the real problem thus far. The bowlers didn't bowl as badly as Simon and Alex made them look in the last game. No reason to worry too much as yet. It's early yet.

I should shoulder responsibility for the poor start to the season, the team hasn't been getting a foundation to build on and that is obviously my job.

I shall buck up the ideas and quicksharp or else we could head down the road of mediocrity.

Well as far as I see it...we seem to be bowling well enough, fielding well enough ...
but we get rolled.

So...batsman...concentrate more ;)

I`m up for some more hard work, I never seem to perform against the Colts, I think I should stop underestimating them. :D

Can`t wait `til the next game, hopefully we can get some winning form. :)

I think I've got a knack for bowling relatively well in matches that we lose and bowling rubbish when we win. :mellow: So as long as I bowl rubbish in the next game we're bound to win...good odds then. :)

The way I see it, you've been selected to the ODI squad and suddenly you're all high and mighty Mr. "I'm gonna play ODI cricket", so you've let your FC game slip as a result. Sort it Patrick. :dry:
