Short tour of the West Indies (2 Tests, 3 ODIs), players return to train for the WC and possibly play a bit of Dev cricket, then the big show toward the end of the season.

An FC 98 actually. Halsey has 5 FC 50s.
Holy moly, we bat all the way down to 9.

We need a bit more bowling depth though.

But we can make up for the lack of bowling with batting and general awesomeness.

Not with Liam opening the batting. Patrick, Collins/Demeza, Fuller, Cramps, Halsey, Currie is a fine attack with several options. De Silva can bowl as well if need be...

Indeed it seems we have a very strong line-up. I wouldn`t be worried about the pace bowling depth Campsy, there`s you, Fuller, Adam, Demeza and myself. Five quality pacemen when most teams only have three, maybe four. Though I do understand with call-ups and my inevitable injury.

I`m pushing for Crampton over Jellett in FC Games, just quietly.

Young .....may also be in with a shot at callups.
That mean I've been dumped in Tests?

That batting lineup looks phenom in both forms of the game. To have Cloete, Goff, Camps and Fuller in 3-6 cannot be a bad thing.

I also think we're a little light on match-winners with ball but I reckon there's enough variation to continue as a force in Dev Cricket (note Mr Goff, we're already a force. :p)

On that note, welcome to The Blues Goffy, especially as Test CWXI captain, and other arrivals. You'll find we're an easy going bunch but watch out for Patrick, he's a little too easy-going sometimes....

Shut up Pete, I put in more work to get injured than the rest of you slackers put together! :D

And Crampton... little Crampton, go play in the corner while the grown-ups have adult talk-time. Haha, fair enough, but Dylan isn`t often active.

Really does seem like a brilliant team, both in FC (my favourite!) and OD.
I hope to play OD cricket, as often as I can, but not if I have to replace Ad's. He does the much better job of tying down the middle overs. If i don't get wickets in the first ten in the one dayers i can be a little erratic to bring back at the death :)

Can't wait for the season to roll on, mind you, currently having a lot of fun for the Porters again :D

Bring on the bouncy blue dome :D

In fact, he`s the only player not to sign-in for the Blues.

Gotta love the look of our strongest side, especially in FC Cricket. And without much doubt, I should be moving up the batting order after some strong batting in the first few games.

Har har, funniest thing i've heard in ages.
I scored more than you last year, I reckon i'll be up to ten and you eleven before you go up to nine to replace ad's :P

That's how unlikely it is :P

Liam, who's likely to be called up from the OD team?
Sources suggest that it'll be a batsman or two or three or four, or a bowler or two or three or four, or possibly an allrounder or two or three or four. I'll give you the inside scoop though - cricketers are likely to be called up, if anyone.

Once again, we're the most active team, and we have a very impressive squad.

Particularly in the shorter form, where we've lost a pretty poor performer in Simon and replaced him with one of the best ODI batsmen in the world. Can't complain about that. ;)
