I nominate Kears for a vice captain position. He's been around for a while, is one of our best players, and knows how our team works.

either team vote or neil. my opinon on the vice captin is that it shoutl;d be someone who is at this stage unlikley to be called up for int selection. just so that when neil is out there is someone there ready and not someone who is actually the third inline. this would help give the team some consistancy

looks a great squad, im excited bout my move back down to four. last season struggled at three and sometimes upening, but it was required for the benifit of the team, looks like it should be back to the glory days for us blacks

I'm starting to find some form in the longer version of the game, so hopefully I start season X well and hold my place.

I guess Neil shoudl just choose vice captain, because some players don't really know who's who and what not....

While it would probably be the fairest way for everyone in the team to vote, there are a few new players who don't really know who's who and who the best person would be, and probably would be therefore motivated to follow someone else's opinion instead of their own (if they had one...)

My thoughts are that, seeing as Dave's International career seems to be on pause (sorry), it's probably the best option that he is vice-captain for the sake of continuity and stability.

I'm quite happy to be VC again, but it might be better to give it to someone who is going to be more of a regular in the side. I certainly don't expect to be playing much OD cricket and i'm going to have to fight for my place in the FC side.

I'd say give it to Blackman and i could possibly be his right hand man when you guys are on internationals. He's active and committed and has a couple of seasons under his belt now.

X = Roman numeral for 10. Since season 9 was the last season, this season, going by a natural increase of 1 every season, becomes season 10 (thus, X).

yea i havent been very active either as i just had my appendix removed but i think either kearsley or blackamn would be good choices for vc
