Jim Maxwell vs Ravi Shastri

Jim Maxwell

Playing Career: None to speak of.
Commentating Pedigree: Commentator for ABC in Australia since 1973. He has provided commentary for over 200 test matches; second only to Alan McGilvray for ABC
Other: * Has provided commentary for various cricket computer games
* Has commentated for 3 olympic games and other sports from rugby to table tennis
* Has edited ABC Cricket Magazine since 1988
* Author of no less than 3 cricket books



Ravi Shastri

Playing Career: Tireless Indian all-rounder who played test match and ODI cricket for India throughout the 1980s and in to the early 1990s before he was forced into retirement due to a recurring knee injury in 1994.
Commentating Pedigree: Took up commentary early in 1995 during the World Masters Tournament. He soon grew in popularity and gained a regular slot on ESPN-Star, but has recently commentated for Sky Sports and Channel 4.
Other: * Ran a talk show Shaz and Waz with Wasim Akram
* A UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador
* Captained India in a single test match.

How does Nicholas wanting to have *** with Michael Clarke and Brett Lee equate to being a counterbalance to Australianess :p
I'd always imagined certain quarters down under would consider buggery to be un-Australian; it appears not. :p

Anyway, only really know Maxwell from his commentaries on Cricket 2002 & Cricket 2004 on my PS2, so have to go with Shastri.
