The ATG World XI's game

International Debutant
You know who deserves a mention in this thread? Arguably the greatest captain ever, Mike Brearley. Will be voting for him as of next round.

All things are relative of course, but as we get on to the 23rd XI the batting is beginning to look a little thin, and I think the pace bowling is too - not so the spinners - some real class acts left, and both Ram and Val still available, not to mention MacGill, Blythe, Ironmonger and Iverson, in fact there are 11 names on that list who wouldn't look out of place to my eyes in the top ten, let alone coming in down in the 20s and 30s

I have clearly lost track of this one now. I was actively participating till about the 18th XI...went for a vacation thereafter...

Amarnath picked as he played so much cricket at number 3 - I think Nurse and Malik are very unlucky!

1 - Select a Cricketer to bat at number 6
2 - Select another bowler, most likely to bat at 8 or I guess 9.

Interesting that Macgill made such a strong charge about halfway through, just missed out a few times and is now languishing behind.

Ganguly

Constantine

I wanted Bowes, but Constantine stabilises the batting. Bowes will hopefully get the new ball next round. So when are we getting this sim underway? I am so keen!

Sorry mate. Ganguly, Bowes and Constantine were all chosen in the past team.

I've removed them, sorry for the confusion - I wasn't concentrating.
