Still plenty of quality there in the opening bowlers. Magnificent duo there.

Watson has to serve as a fifth bowler, since Bari CANNOT bat above 9. With Ajmal selected, we need pacemen who can bat.

Andrew Symonds

Stuart Broad.

Symonds a little left-field, but he ended up averaging 40 in Tests (despite a **** start), and looked prime to continue improving with the bat. Plus he could chip in with handy wickets. Definitely worth considering for 6 in this side, IMO.

So that's 23 teams now. I quite like this team. Are we going to stop at 24? Jager or rvd or anyone else - keen to start the 24th team?

Shattered Toshack keeps missing out. Sorry mate, I am working 8-5 this week plus got a few places to be after work, so I won't be able to update it properly. I might be able to do the one after this though. Might as well go to Z, I think.

I didn't want to pick a team with all 3 quicks having played so little Test Cricket, so Gough won me over. Bowes vs Toshack was closer than Gough vs Toshack for me. Perhaps thats a flawed reason though as Gough didn't play that much Test Cricket compared to others in his era.

I'm busy now too since its tax season but I'll do the next team regardless.
