The ATG World XI's game

How would you all rank the teams in order of strength?
Its hard to see a team which should move places. Just out of left field I quite like the World F XI. I think quite a fair few of the players in this XI are better players than just looking quickly at their averages.

Shane Bond

Swings the ball at pace, top quality player aside from the obvious impediment.

Neil Adcock

Rapid, dangerous and menacing. Qualities I love in a fast bowler.

George Lohmann

Obviously a very classy bowler in his time. Not sure where really to rate him, but would love to slide him into this team. It will probably also help this side with the simming process, with his stats!

Saeed Anwar

Classy batsman, scores in a 360 arena.

Trevor Goddard

Great leader, and willed himself towards victory and contribution however he could, much respect.

Bond, Tyson and Fazal would make a pace attcak for all wickets and conditions

For the opening bats Stewie Dempster and Roy Fredericks, not because Fredericks was particularly good, but he was great entertainment

Blakus

State Vice-Captain
Eddie Barlow and Conrad Hunte for the openers

Fred Spofforth, Neil Adcock and George Lohmann for my pace attack

Batting votes
Anwar- fantastic left-handed stylist who is often underrated.
Barlow- about time he got picked, his stubborn resistance will go well with Anwar's flair.

Bowling votes
Tyson- could have been an all-time great had it not been for injury. Very, very fast by all reports. Unstoppable in the second innings, too.
Lohmann- often unplayable with his medium-fast seamers.
Spofforth- definitely a fast and furious bowler who has earned his place in history with the nickname of 'demon bowler'.

Stronger pace attack there than in the previous two XIs. No need for another bowling option among the top five so I'll go with Ian Chappell, Eddie Paynter and VVS Laxman for the middle order, followed by Wilfred Rhodes in the last allrounder's spot.

Vijay Hazare - Extremely good FC record, and very good test numbers as well, despite having much of his career interrupted by the war.
Eddie Paynter - Averaging 83 against Australia, Paynter always saved his best when playing against the strongest sides - a quality a World J XI would undoubtedly need. Plus, he would bat through anything - his innings in Brisbane during the Bodyline series is the stuff of legend.
AB de Villiers - While Paynter was aggressive, de Villiers brings a whole new case of flamboyant to the middle order. He has every shot in the book, with Paynter forms an epic fielding combination, and can perform under pressure (he seems to be one South African not usually renowned for choking). Plus, should injury strike, he would be a more than competent back-up wicketkeeper or opener.

Wilfred Rhodes - Rhodes was an extremely good left-arm spinner for much of his career, before re-inventing himself as an opener and then seemingly switching between batting- and bowling-allrounder status at will. To place him at 7 or 8, based on his late-career role as a full-time bowler and middle order batsman, would give the side a very nice balance indeed.

EDIT: Goddard and Barlow could probably combine to fill the fifth bowler role. Can probably pick a specialist batsman at 6 IMO.

Would form with Barlow the greatest slip cordon of any of the teams. Chappell, Barlow and Richardson, with A.B filling in anywhere (when Barlow is bowling) or in the Gully.
