only slippy and the fan of Zaltz hairlocks are questioning the timing of it, rest all are saying right time to go as if it is right 3 months before a world cup to retire like this

Hes coming back shorty. Its all misunderstanding with the coach, board head and Shakib
After the massive press conference I doubt he is coming back, he said he had been thinking of retirement for a while and this was not some sudden decision

I have seen this for far too many times esp when its evident emotion took over reality of the situation. He’s coming back citing whatever.

Saw him hit a ton against us at Old Trafford in 2010. Fine innings and a cracker to watch, and then when he was gone Swann cleaned up.

I typically view the right time to go as whenever the player doesn't want to make himself available for selection anymore. But that aside, the timing is pretty weird.

Bangladeshi cricketers do have a habit of reversing retirements so I was hoping he'd decide to see out the WC but if you watch the presser he is definitely 100% done.

Yesterday night bcb chief held press conference. He stated that he tried to call tamim several times but could not reach him. Then he sent text messages to his brother Nafees Iqbal. Nafees replied he’d convey those messages to Tamim. There will be much pressure from higher up in the coming days. Papon also said Tamim is still our captain and that Tamim did not let board know anything officially.

Papon is such a dickhead, it's hard to believe he's real. He's like a cross between Vince McMahon and Stalin.

Great player when on song and an excellent servant of Bangladeshi cricket. He looked like he had a glittering career ahead of him after he smashed two utterly beautiful test centuries in England as well as a 151 against India as a 21 year old. Sadly he then failed to achieve his potential due to the appalling standards of professionalism and fitness and general low expectations that were typical of Bangladeshi cricket for much of his career.

Nevertheless, he was ****ing swashbuckling when on song, a genuinely good international standard batsman and watching him was one of the highlights of following Bangladesh. Probably the right decision to retire though as 2-3 years of injuries, surgeries and recoveries have taken their toll.
Hope you're prepared to post this again in 6 months you fool

they might not win any actual cups but they will always be champions of the drama cup
