**** looks like sri lanka are indeed going to be the party poopers....and that too after the only decent crowd of the world cup shows up...man WI need a wicket like now!!!!

Not looking too flash for the Windies here I'd say. Chanders & Sir Brian really need to consolidate. We've seen many time that if wickets are in hand 10 an over & more from the last ten is quite easily manageable.

It seems all over for Wi....With Murali yet to come, WI losing three big wickets is huge loss

SA, Bang, Eng...hhhmm doesn't look good for WI they should have won this match to give them some breathing space...

Shivnarine seems to have taken that notion to heart, just like in the Australian and New Zealand games Chanderpaul does not fill it necessary to actually sometimes rotate the strike and score some runs. Absolutely pathetic batting from him, although Sarwan seems to be a willing conspirer. Good luck to the pair in trying to hit Murali for eight runs an over. Can not say the West Indies will be missed, they have shown throughout the Super Eight’s to be void of any commitment or bottle to raise their game and compete, they look completely uninterested and it’s quite sad really.

However, as I type Chanderpaul hits a four. Though, one suspects six overs to late.

England you mean? If so considering are next two games that could be a nice dead rubber in Barbados.
yeah...if WI even loses the next match, the rest two is dead rubber...not a good send of for the best batsmen of its time...i think the WI games should have been later on than it being all in the beginning of the super 8

These two still there in ten overs time & the rate isn't more than 11 Windies are a chance.

Chanders smacks a maximum as I type.

the way its been going its been the opposite of what the WI were looking for this world, in every terms-money, renaissance in their cricket...etc it all went wrong...

I'll doubt it would make much of a difference, be more of hindrance I would have thought waiting so long to play. They had some resonates of momentum coming from the group stages, all gone now of course.

I would trade WI winning this match and going to the semis with may bangladesh beating WI(not any other team though;)

Still have to equate the Malinga factor, for if he starts reversing it then obtaining six runs an over will be a test, let alone ten or whatever ridiculous number it will be come the 40th over.
