Happily watching NZ bat at 3-80 thinking they could still make a game of it, then I saw their batting lineup - the tail started at 6

Watched another wicket fall, turned off the lights and went to bed because that result was absolutely inevitable

Didn't see the game (too lazy to get up), but I'm not surprised or worried, especially with Bond and Oram out. Although if Shane Bond is sick, then I'm Norman Mailer.

No point buggering about with a big total like that. Just a crappy night for NZ sports fans, 'tis all.

Good thing it wasn't a meaningful match or we REALLY would have had scaly-waily on our case.

No, really. These guys are playing a different sport than the rest of the country. It is too ridiculous. Amazing...they haven't played a single close game!

What a clinical and professional performance by the Aussies, they were probably trying to send a message to NZ and other teams too.

Anyways superb effort from Haydos a deserving MOM award for him and Watto's batting yesterday was simply mind-blowing.

With the ball Taito picked 3 wickets,McGrath 2 and Watto picket one wicket, but Hoggy again was very good with the ball picking 4 wickets and running through the lower-order.

The New Zealanders should hand back their match payments for the game last night as they never earned it.

Wow, I mean wow. Shane Watson take a bow. Playing in a position that's horrible for you, that only weeks ago you looked ****e in and then this. 65 from 32 balls. It wasn't a slogfest either. They were awesomeness. Take that Fiery and co.

And while were at it, thats for C-H New Zealand. Oh, that was good after those miserable three games, putting up scores of 300+ and still getting beaten.

And jeez. Matthew Hayden, what a gun. Really, he's in the form of his life and even though he's one of my favourite players, I wanted him out of the squad pre-WC. Jeez, was a shocker of a call now. What a legend, what a gun.

And lol at Clarke, funniest, weirdest dismissal I've ever seen. Literally a "cbf" moment from him. Quality innings from him before hand though, also from Ponting and it's nice to see Hussey getting some time in the middle.

And McGrath, first ball wicket. The guy is like 70 and still "owning" people half his age on a regular occasion. He's something else really. Feel bad for Fleming as well, was a shocker call from Dar (still think he's one of the best though).

Very worried about the semis and the final though, I shouldn't be because this is one of the greatest ODI sides ever assembled and on paper we won't have a problem against either team, but it's pretty stressful nonetheless. Might go get some anxiety tablets or something.

Panesar is not playing.. That makes easier for WI to master the ENG attack in the middle part of innings

Lara better not come in with 10 overs left after the WI top order decides to play Test match cricket. I'll be livid if that happens.

Can't beleive Bell got dropped yet Strauss is still playing. Gives England a chance to see how Plunkett and Broad will go, as well as the experiment of having Bopara at #3. Just glad to see West Indies batting first, expectation on Lara playing well is huge.

Thats possible bcoz, Strauss played a little cameo in the last match..They might have took in that in to consideration.

Yep! Lara should aim for ODI 400 this time, if not WI total should cross 400
