Bad ball from Lang... Vaughan puts it away with assurance.

Perhaps there is some momentum building up here.

Great minds think alike Prince, England have picked up the run rate to an incredible 2.0 an over. How remarkable. Really, this is dire batting from Vaughan. The bowling has been good, but for a guy who has opened in Test matches his defence has been ridiculously poor and shows the lack of confidence in his own batting.

Two great shots played by Vaughan in the 10th Over

9.2 Langeveldt to Vaughan, FOUR!!, no mistake whatsover with the pull shot this time, short of length delivery outside the off stump, Vaughan goes on the backfoot and pulls it away to deep square leg for four, lovely shot!!!

9.4 Langeveldt to Vaughan, FOUR!!, that never looked like to be travelling to the fence, back of a length delivery on the middle and leg, Vaughan comes on the frontfoot and whips it away between midwicket and long on for four, impeccable timing on that shot!!!

Nice shots there by Vaughan but it's all well and good putting away the bad deliveries, that is expected of an ODI batsman. Still looking hopeless against line and length though, no idea how to rotate the strike and run quick singles.

Absolutely right and it is a problem with Strauss and Vaughan and is prob why there is such a gap between their test and ODI abilities.
