In the lunch-break show Ian Chappell was questioning Sri Lanka's motives behind resting Murali and Vass.

He said the ICC anti-corruption unit should look into the matter.

Do you guys agree with Chappell's thoughts?

Chappell was saying there could be something fishy in the resting of Vass and Murali, so the ICC anti-corruption unit should question Sri lankan team management about the reasons due to which Murali and Vass were rested.

The Sri Lankans have a plan here for Gilchrist. We all know how dangerous he can be when he is provided with room, he frees his arms and can certainly hit the ball a long way. The Sri Lankan bowlers are bowling to him from round the wicket in order to cramp him up for room and then dry away runs in that process to frustrate him and get rid of him. This plan was actually invented by the English bowlers in the Ashes 2005 and we saw Gilchrist failing to make an impact in that series.

Raghav! A half decent comment from you!

Since that series I think every team is looking to cramp him for room.

Gilchrist himself stated that he needed to alter his technique a bit to counteract it.

For those who say ODI is proper cricket without slogging up until over 40, I refer you to that "shot" by Gilchrist, and the subsequent two "shots" by Hayden (the second of which has just gone for 6).
