So he was ALLOWED to "throw" in a game? is that what you're saying?
'Allowed' probably isn't the right term, as it's not as though the umpires and match officials would've known that he was going to "do a Narine" before hand. But there was no point in putting him through the citation process, because it was obvious from the beginning that he was just trying to make a statement about how too many bowlers are being allowed to get away with dodgy actions. He's bowled with his normal action ever since, so what would be the point of citing him and putting him through testing?

The point is if you throw in a game the umpires are duty bound to report you right? so if Narine's action is dodgy why wasn't Ashwin reported? people can't have it both ways..either Narine is "throwing" and Ashwin threw in a game or Narine is clean so that's why Ashwin didn't get called!!..which one is it?

At the time, Narine wasn't being reported either. Neither was Ajmal, or Senanayake, or Williamson or Hafeez or Al-Amin. Just because they weren't being called at the time doesn't mean that they were bowling within the limits. The ICC has only started to take this issue really seriously in the last 3 months.

I'm not "Shifting" anything. People are making excuses that "Ashwin was proving a point" therefore if Narine's action is as bad as some suggest then surely Ashwin should have been called!!..but hey i already talked about the big three players so i'll leave it there.
Well Narine is being called!!.. so either it's clean and the calls have been wrong. Or it's "throwing" and therefore Ashwin should have been called too right?
Ashwin SHOULD have been called. But just because he wasn't in one match doesn't mean that it's incorrect to call Narine. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Ajmal is an infinitely better "bowler" and comes from a country that has a history of playing the persecution card

If anything, Narine is a relatively soft target
Possibly right, I thought the tie to an IPL power might make Narine about as high up the rung as they were willing to go.

All I'm saying is what Dan stated previously - it's ridiculous that anyone is getting suspended on suspicion. I don't know of another sport who operates like that.

I remember SEEING Ian Healy impersonate Merv Hughes's bowling ACTION in a benefit match once. He did it perfectly, right down to the CUSHION stuffed up his SHIRT! and FAKE MOUSTACHE !!!!!!

That is all.

Any sport that complies with WADA is guilty until proven innocent

I get what you are saying man. It's disgraceful. How could they allow Ashwin to throw in only one ODI when Narine was allowed to throw in 52 ODIs, 32 T20Is and 6 Tests? Not the mention the IPL and 4 Champions League games.

It's ridiculously unfair. They should make it up to him.

Proof? I thought you were supplying the proof when you said
The funny thing is Ashwin bowled with Narine's action the other day!!..so if they are now claiming Narine "throws" why wasn't Ashwin called in those games?
What the hell man. How are we supposed to prove this all a big conspiracy if we don't have the proof? God damn it!
