150 wickets @ average less than 25 was my criteria.

Jimmy is great due to longevity. That’s about it.
ECB actually ****ed up Jimmy's action after some injuries in the 2000s, Jimmy got his old true action back in 2010, what was his average after 2010 aka with true action? probably fits the criteria no?

thoughts on him making a hundred against Keith Miller and 80 against Cowie
Both of the innings you posted is against Miller. Honestly, both looks Good but Miller bowled only 13 overs in the 1st one and took 0 wickets between both. I got the feeling he was playing as a batting all-rounder, especially in the century match. Though I will say, a player of Wally's stature can definitely deliver a few good/great performances even after the flame has died.

reading his scorecards are pretty sad to me, he is constantly fighting, getting starts but completely failing in converting them, it's kind of sad to see honestly.

Yeah so Viv has some tons I would argue against peak Botham in 80/81 that could count.

Sachin has the 1999 ton against Wasim and Waqar.

Smith only has one ton against Steyn and Philander.

who would you pick against pace from arguments you've read, Lara or Hammond? genuine question btw, they seem similar to me as batters even if Lara distinctly better
Ugh it's hard. Maybe Lara because before his eye issues in 94 he genuinely didn't seem to have problems with high pace.
