I answered you this 3 weeks ago.

Pollock was loyal and stayed home to play in and support SA cricket. Barry was the mercenary who played his trade around the world.
During the expulsion Pollock was more important to SA cricket.

And I literally just gave you a list of players who called Barry the best they've seen.

Where have I ever said Pollock doesn't have a case, they are both ATG bats.
My personal and objective opinion is that Barry was better, and being at the top was another plus.

I've also watched the two of them extensively and I also use that too as a gauge.

I literally said less than an hour ago, that it's my opinion, you don't have to agree. I'm not trying to convince you.

Barry was top tier elite to me, and many who saw him called him the very best they've seen.
Okay that's fine as long as you have acknowledged Pollock has as good a case and it's your personal preference.

Yeah makes sense, Constantine has a brilliant record against England considering the era and has a brilliant FC record too, so Hammond struggling against him makes sense.
Constantine bowled against Hammond in 35 innings and got him out 11 times, Hammond averaging 40 with four hundreds. On ten occasions there was at least one other fast bowler in the opposition.

wtf Chappell was a terrific player of spin. And I say that as someone who wouldn’t have him in an AT Aus XI
As was Gavaskar
Why do you think the SC attacks of Chappell’s time were anything other than second rate? Seriously the biggest challenge of touring there back then was galloping dysentery.
Chandrasekhar - Bedi - Prasanna - Venkataraghavan

They were decently successful in Australia as well. His elder brother Ian called Prasanna the best visiting spinner ever in Australia.

Pakistan had Imran.

Did good in the 3rd Test. 2nd Test, in which he scored a double, was horribly flat though, according to both scorecard and what I read of about the pitch.
Imran missed the test too. Chappell's fraudulence exposed yet again.

Big-dick Border made runs in the game Imran played and the first test which was played on a rank turner.

They played against a WSC-less Australia in 1977 and couldn’t beat them. I went to the Sydney test that series. They were over rated. And ****ing boring to watch. Honestly, just ****ing awful.

Yikes, you went to ground in 1977??? My father wasn't even born back then......

Well, on point, Prasanna had a pretty Great series just the previous tour when Ian called him the best to tour Australia; and Bedi and Chandrasekhar gave Australia some good beatings, a tragedy we didn't had enough good pacers to finish the job.

Played 3 tests in Pakistan and averaged 70 though. The quartet wouldn’t have bothered him. Seriously, he was a properly great player of spin.
On the back of a double ton in a flat as pancake bed in a match Imran missed..... It's the problem with going with averages in something like a 3 match series.
