Stumped!

Sampath bowled an over where 5/6 balls were 10 ball quality, and the 6th was 9 lol. Didn't manage a wicket, bu Du Preez couldn't get him off the square.

36/1 in 11. Honors even so far. Batting should get easier as this game goes on. Hopefully we can trigger a middle order collapse as well.

It's tempting to play Rusty given the depth he gives to the side, but it really isn't working. Might switch him from 7 to 9 aggression. TBF to him in his last two fr. 50o games he got 53 (51) + 3-30, and 86* (78) + 3-22. But it was more minnow-bashing than match-winning.

Key in this game is whether JdP can convert his start.

Jan Du Preez is out for 32 from 48 balls, Daniel Rowan will replace him.

82/2 in 22. We've started well, but asking rate is still under 5.

Rowan gone now also. Shaffrey better make a classic knock. Edit: Shaffrey goes. Need some biffing from Winton and Murdoch now.

Decently surprised with how well my batting lineup has performed this season.

Clift's now out, replaced with Rowan who's struggling to find his rhythm. But yeah, a nice, balanced lineup. Which I suppose you expect from a side with skills all in the mid-30s.

Calling Dee a veteran! He may have played 263 games but he is only 19. :p Good game, the middle order collapsed as predicted. 173 was 46 runs shy.

The famed Mr. Cricket is on the TM. What a fabulous player! If only he were a decade younger... A very strong performer for Ashgrove.

Good win that. Sampath was fantastic. Higher current skill than Bikswing, but B's skills were specialized for the new ball. Glad we didn't lose out too much there.

Kurt Murdoch just got a 16-ball fifty to win my T20 against a top 50 side. Legend, moves me out of the relegation zone. His 58* (20) was in sharp contrast to his 33 (41) in the BBL (which was incidentally a win against a 65K team).

What's the deal with training pace. Worth it or not? Better on younger guys or older? Building an army of medium pacers at the minute.
I prefer to train pace on younger guys who are getting plenty of IGT. The rate of improvement in pace doesn't change with age IIRC, but the rate of decline in Accuracy does. So better off training it when young and then maxing out L&L towards the end of the players' training cycle.

So I`m unexpectedly first in my SOD div. And 2nd in my T20 and Dev. I was hoping to try upgrade in the SOD this season, but still not expecting it with some tough competition. I had not expected to be doing well in T20 and Dev, we shall see if I can get up into next level. Hoping to make some money next season.

On the other side I have my first decent pull in 18 weeks, with a 43 batsmen. Still debating whether to keep him or not. He got picked for his name...Boudewijn Scheepers.

Cheers. And where’s a good place to leave it? MF or FM good enough
