Stumped!

Have just sent out a few friendlies - I think I got everyone apart from hb- @honestbharani - send me a friendly request when you have a bit of time to go on Stumped - see that you haven't been on lately so don't want to set a friendly and you not be able to set orders

And what a win for Ashgrove Astronauts especially seeing as they were outrated - it turns out it just takes Marcuss to beat the dominant ***** CC!

Vilojen continues to score valuable tail end runs for TMO.

@Magrat Garlick I've listed Tudor up, got an offer for 40k for him. Plenty of managers interested actually, hope I can get 6 figures for him. Would seriously help my ailing finances.

And on the topic of youth transfers - how much are you willing to let Lickley go for? I think he could do a job at ZCC, and have buyers lined up for Livpreet Thakar.

Big score from the MTOs. Katz deserved a 50. The lower order continues to score runs. Hopefully that continues as the batters improve.

Happy to let Lickley go for 20k or so? Schmaltzberg needs a bit of cash too.

Definitely think Tudor will go for something in 6 figures. I think once you've got the opening offer the market dynamics should get him to a fair price, so I'm not gonna offer more than 40k for now.

Agreed. The quicker I get Eugene and Lickley on board the quicker I can sell Livpreet and Tudor. Bit of a downgrade in total potential of the side, but definite upgrade in current skills + helps smoothen out difficult upcoming transition phases.

Mooos batters missing a lot of straight balls today.

A few changes for the rural Dynamos as they are taking a look at some new recruits. With Lickley confirmed to be leaving and the pitch drying up, Schmaltzberg have included four spinners in their lineup:

Kurusumuttu /o
Holding /
Loey /
Steenkamp* /
Fraser /o
McGill /o
Mavela /+
Payne /o
Fazal /o
v/d Westhuizen o
Ndlovu o

Schmaltzberg's newest coach Khalid Murad will be keeping a keen eye on proceedings. He's got a lot of experience teaching FHK's young batters how to play in spinning conditions, I'm sure he'll be a good fit for the mining village.

Some small changes to the team that faced Mooo earlier today.

1. Nathan Reid - The young opener that continues to show some promise, but needs to start doing more. Not converting some of his solid starts and needs to follow through a bit more.
2. Jalal Farhat - An older man of the young squad, similar to Reid needs to start showing more. Destined to become the more aggressive of the opening pair.
3. Anthony Davidson - A young man that faces Schmaltzberg for the first time. Shows incredible promise to be one of the future stars of the MTOs but needs considerable more experience. Given a license to showcase his talent with a bit more aggression.
4. Alonso Kock* /o - Captain and most experienced player. Continues to lead the team well in this building time. Has slowly through hard work become the best and most consistent batsmen in the squad.
5. Hetal Tyagi /o - Tygai continues to be a stalwart of the team and with Kock the heart of the middle order batting. however needs to improve on some recent bowling performances. This is the time and place to do it.
6. Jacques Katz - The 2nd oldest in the young squad, given the job of guiding the lower order to improved totals. So far has done a fantastic job in this role.
7. Todii Mthombeni+ - The young wicketkeeper that continues to show improvement. Even as he frustrates some of the management with his slow development. New coaching techniques are hoped to help deliver on his potential quickly for the coming season.
8. Zach Burger/o - The prodigious young bowling talent (with some batting ability) continues to show high skill at a young age. Following some discussion with management. it has been decided that he needs to work on improved pace similar to when he joined the club, now that his control has improved. A man along with Mthombeni and Davidson to help take the club to a bright future.
9. Jeroen Viljoen - Still the oldest member of the team. And a man who continues to deliver at high ability having also guided the team to some important victories with the bat.
10. Bashir Agha - The youngest member of the squad given his 2nd outing today in place of the unfortunately named Marx. Not having the same batting or bowling potential, but has developed quickly into the 2nd choice spinner (only other spinner!) in the team.
11. Sanjeewa Samaranayake - Another young bowler still trying to find his feet, finding his place under constant threat and pressure but still taking important wickets when needed, and dynamic skill in the field that keeps him ahead of the other candidates in the squad.

Hoping for an improved batting and fielding performance at Schmaltzberg following the confidence boosting home win earlier in the day.

Morpork are playing a friendly against a 60k rated team. Thought we had a chance when they were 107/5 after 30 but they just have such a strong brutal tail. 69/2 after 18 in response, which is just setting things up for collapsing to around 150.

At least Schmaltzberg's match should be nice and close.

Double wicket changes the complexion of the game... can MTOs recover and post a competitive score!

And 3rd wicket of the best batsmen and captain is likely to lead to a crumble...
