Stumped!

Yeah rn I'd be surprised if ZCC get back up, 219 seems way too low for D1 cricket.
I'm actually slightly outrated this game. The effect of slightly sub-optimal orders is significant' when competition is this tight.

Chung Yiu stays true to his 'partnership breaker' trait. Returns for his 2nd spell and breaks the opening partnership, his figures now read 4-3-1-1 lol. Bowled 3 maidens on the trot with the new ball. Quality.

46/1 in 16, RRR 5.09 now. Let's hope for a middle-order wobble here. Very interested to see how Zack and Danial's first spells go.

One wicket brings two
Another for Chung Yiu
Ken Silver out for 29

Two new batters in now, and Zack Yattack gets tossed the ball. Can he conjure up a 3rd wicket? Or will he concede 20 runs. Both equally likely.

I'm surprised Nouding has gone off the boil as much as he has. Apparently new ball specialism can only carry you so far once your average skill plops down?

Ahsan! Oh that's a huge wicket
Played a good innings with the bat, and now a wicket first ball. Responding to the extra responsibility admirably. Gifted the new batter a boundary first ball though, clearly some polishing left to be done.

The batters struggling to connect with Zack. He's suck a tricky bowler to face. Bit of a scatter gun, but lots of skillz.

Bikswing has done alright this season, has played a lot on unfriendly surfaces. But yea his best days are behind him.

GG ended their season with a win.
Bram Human celebrated the return of his brother Cornelius to the team with 89(96). He shared a 151-run opening partnership with his skipper, Ernst Levy who made 66(102). Cornelius came in at number four and dashed a cameo of 15(10) as GG got to their target of 201.

Earlier in the match, Christo Theron with his left arm wrist spin spun a web around the Colombo Crusaders batsmen. He picked up 4 for 28 in 9.5 overs, Jayraj D Souza supported with 3 for 47 off his allotted 10 overs. The other wicket take was Roger Attlee (2 for 38). Although Cornelius Human did not pick up any wickets, he was economical (9-0-26-0).

GG won by 7 wickets.

Danial Ahsan with another big breakthrough, kid's on fire lately. Game's nicely poised here, but I think Relegation Reprobates will make it. 139/4 in 36 overs. Defending 80 needed from 84.

Tomorrow's CWC2 games are interesting. Dynamo Morprok vs Free HK is the game that could decide 2nd place. FHK won at 5DNOL by 16 runs earlier in the season, can Morprok return the favour at Treacle Mine Road? Meanwhile Dynamo Schmaltzberg will play host to ZCC at the Mining Inc Stadium. ZCC are set to play 17 yo offspinner Tim Chester as 2nd spinner to Luke Giddings. Some question if 17 yo left arm wristspinner Livpreet Thakar should have been considered instead, and wonder if this is a sign of which 17-year old spinner is on their way out from ZCC.

Honest Hunks should pick up a comfortable win over Inner Western Wombats, while it will be interesting to see what combination Winton CC field vs Picasso Moon.

@JOJOXI, ZCC are willing to take Takaedza Eugene off your hands, but 40K feels a bit steep for a 39 Pot batter. Willing to start at 20k and see how the market responds to it?

Will have a closer look at things and look to get back to you in next 48 hours on that but yh prices I set were potentially a bit optimistic - tried to go off someone on forum who had made players available and kind of extrapolating from there and going towards higher end of any estimates for what might be market price.

MTOs in an easy bot game today, big win in the end. Was not initially happy with batting but did not realize how tough the pitch was. Much slower than expected.

Viljoen and Burger have some batting skill, but the players above them currently have much better batting potential. Even if current skills do not show it. Davidson almost got to his 50 today, batsmen with plenty of potential (highest in squad, currently) but low current skill. Did well and hope to be seeing plenty more runs from him. Kock doing his captaining duties well gaining experience and has made his way to best batsmen currently in squad, surpassing Tyagi and the openers.

just wait and watch as their numbers 7 and 8 bash the remaining 46 runs in no time.
or, y'know, Luke Giddings taking a five-fer to bowl them out and win us the game.

Always nice to end the season with a win at home :) Excellent performance all round.

Giddings the obvious candidate for POTM, but shout out to Zack Yattack for 72 in the first dig and 5-0-27-0 with the ball. Without him we'd have nothing to defend, and then he bowled 5 tidy overs to boot. Also took a nice catch.

38.1WLuke Giddings to Aaron Humphrey82.6 kphGOT HIM! Ball moving away from the batsman outside off, Humphrey goes after this. That was mistimed and has gone way, way up, Yattack is sprinting round to claim it. Yattack just about clings on, well held.

Giddings with a 5 for... total collapse by the Relegation Reprobates to the innocuous finger spin!
Luke would take offence to that! The former SA international has 15 accuracy and 16 variation to go with his 20 experience. He's the last bowler you want to come against at the business end of a runchase, regardless of the pitch. Going to be a big shoes to fill whenever he decides to hang 'em up. Already has a coaching gig at ZCC locked down for when that day comes.

@Magrat Garlick happy to list Tudor up, and you can sign him back for 1K if the market shows no interest. Looking to replace him with a 16 YO, maybe WCC's Takaedza.
