4th June through to 3rd August for the group stages, after which we organise the KOs on our own. Lovely. ZCC have stocked up on Time-Turners so we will be able to field full-strength XIs in both the CWC and the League T20 matches on WednesdaysTimings work out a lot more nicely for FHK.
@JOJOXI I'll work on a google sheet for points table over the weekend. All Stumped lets you do is edit the outcome (win/loss). We'll need to manually track NRR.
250 is within reach for your guys! Will wake up to the result but my Winton CC side currently up against Moo - we are batting first and at 141-3 from 31 overs.
I need to login and accept the challenges?@Magrat Garlick @Charlie B @Shri @honestbharani
I know the latter 2 won't be super active but just tagging to give notice of fixtures being generated. I think everyone else has posted in here since the quoted post.
Another loss for the TNTs but happy to have kept Moo under 250 runs... TNTs batting needs some serious development before they become competitive. Thanks for the game @SillyCowCorner1 .The TNTs take on Moo CC atm...
I like this budding rivalry, even though we've been at the winning end on both of the previous occasions.
So far, they have us 39/1 in the 9th. The very prolific Meyiwa is back in the shed.
A pleasant surprise after only 95 from the final 19 overs to reach 236-8 the bowling attack managed to turn Minesh Rana's 91 ball 57 from a frustrating innings to an eventually key innings.250 is within reach for your guys!
Ncanana experience and Burgers lusty blows getting TMO home quickly... can still do without the stress...Win or lose from where I am today... it is very frustrating when you are cantering to a win, only two wickets down chasing a low total, with your best batsman still to come in and suddenly you lose 4 wickets in 6 overs, including two run outs. And I`m deliberately placing more experienced batsmen lower in the order because I keep being told that its my players lack of experience under pressure than is causing the collapses... this should not have been close at this stage.
Sometimes when the other team gets a gun fielding unit, you tend to lose wickets in clumps…and the dreaded run-out when two batsmen are well set. It’s frustrating…I’m still waiting to see a “caught and bowled” in this game.Win or lose from where I am today... it is very frustrating when you are cantering to a win, only two wickets down chasing a low total, with your best batsman still to come in and suddenly you lose 4 wickets in 6 overs, including two run outs. Technically my fielding unit was slightly better.... I do think that the superstar trait sometimes plays a role...Sometimes when the other team gets a gun fielding unit, you tend to lose wickets in clumps…and the dreaded run-out when two batsmen are well set. “Hit wicket” is more common in this game than “caught and bowled”
It’s what I like about this game, the many variables attached to players…and the wildcard characteristics. At times it garners a love-hate relationship with me…but I’ve learn to accept whatever comes my way.Technically my fielding unit was slightly better.... Special mention for Levy who again scored well... and held the top order together... still long way from his potential and hopefully just becomes a beast.
