So my guy got player of the match in the development game, by 1 point over one of my opponents guys.
I picked him up on Sat for $1000. Not a lot left in him, but I needed a spinner and feel that he should give me a few seasons while I develop other players. Already done me a job in a number of games.

ZCC have OD games against both the Merry Orangutans and ataraXIa lined up for today. First up vs the Orangutans at their home ground with my youngest possible XI. Seems a good batting deck, will be interesting to see how my kids bowl.
Later on today we will take on ataraXIa at home. Resting two senior players who I will probably need to move on from after next season's Cup. Good opportunity to test out what my side will look like without them.

Bowlers have done a decent job, lets see what kind of firepower their lower/middle order has.

Answer - not much
Orangutans collapsed from 113/4 to 131/9, before a spirited last-wicket partnership between Johan Van Vuuren and Zach Burger took them to 158 a/o. Ramalingam and Thakar with 3 wickets each.
Should be a simple chase, TMO need some early wickets here. Our lower/middle order is pretty soft too, a lot of responsibility on the Top 6.

49! Danial Ahsan once again dismissed for 49, that first ever senior cricket 50 continues to elude him! Heartbreaking.
Good innings tho. Grobbelaar dismissed for 40 as well, ZCC 4 down with another 34 needed to win. The soft under-belly of the ZCC batting lineup is now exposed with Madani joining Tudor in the middle. Can they and the bowlers see us through to the end?
