Stumped!

Turned it a hellu'va game in the end. Burger tacking a hatrick in the penultimate over to almost but not quite snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Well done @JOJOXI
Just about lost the battle of who could collapse to defeat, both innings pretty well set at points only to end in what was probably a below par score and then to limp home in the chase as your side battled back very strongly. Thanks for game @StephenZA

T20 vs Plymouth Pirates currently seems interestingly poised.

Huge day for the AAs and PPs yesterday. Mixed bag of results.
PPs losing by one run against Jura was a stiff one to take. However the PPs young boys upsetting AX-W has a huge result for them.

Thanks for the game against GG CC

My youngster, Sadiq Ishmail had a blast playing alongside the near-legends of the club

GG CC is currently involved in a youth matchup against Mooo CC, and so far it's looking ominous for Mooo.

Trouble.

GG CC are 143/1 in the 20th over. Tony Watt is going mad with 67 off 53.

The other madman, Peter Sutherland is slated to come in at number 6.

AX-W Dev rolled PP Dev for 140, but then floundered about, and ended up all out for 91 in 32.2 overs. Disappointing.

An experimental T20 side played TMO; many players were rested. The Orangutans had a 102-run opening partnership, but especially after Kock got out for 59 (30), the wheels fell off. They only got 163-6. AXI went very well in response to win, Winton fitting in to his new role as opener nicely.

TMOs struggle in T20 stuff... think its because the squad doesn't really have many aggressive batsmen. Steady, defensive and defiant...

Four AX-W players are retiring after today's last CWC match against Moooo. Jan du Preez will begin tending for the Outground at the end of his day's play; keeper Brock Ritchie, spinner Juan Goliath, and captain Caleb Evison are put on to the TM. This will leave only four senior players around for the side: Todd and Ward are being developed; Price and Schofield are homegrown first-team locks.

AX-W haven't won a game against a human team since 22 March. Moooo are looking for a big win to prove they are up there with the best of them, despite being all but out of the knockout running.

All the best to those guys hanging up their boots.

But let’s move on to the game tonight (an 8PM start for me here, still in Friday)…

In friendlies, Moooo CC has been through some rough times. Their record shows it. 99/314 games won. So if we get the win today it would be somewhat monumental .
