That is very interesting ! I know they say that the number is a sublevel so he could have been 15.49 and gone to 15.51 but still the point remains that he improved at 30 so that blows what I thought I had learnt out of the water - was he a late bloomer ??
No, not a late bloomer. He did drop back to 15 skill one or two weeks later after I stopped coaching him.

On a similar note, I'm doing reasonably well in a match right now with a 47K vs a 58K side in a knock out competition... and there's like a 23.4K fielding difference lol.

Similar situation to the Schmaltzberg match, chasing a tough total with Dee and Murdoch coming in after a formidable Clift-du Preez partnership. Doesn't look like I'll make it now sadly, needing 79 runs off the last 10 with just 4 wickets in hand.

Argh, no Bangla player has been identified as prospective by my scouts.

Went for Oakes as the best batter (and bowler), very disappointed to see that he has just 27 pot bat.

However, he has 43 pot bowl, including 16 pot variation + tail clearer, iceman. 14 pot fielding makes him a quality player. I'm not sure whether I want to keep him, he needs significant training (which I can give easily, but would lower his price on the market to below $20K likely). I'll think about it.

In terms of players he might replace in my side there's Daniel Jones, a more specialised death bowler; Liam Kotze, an all-rounder whose bowling tends towards the death; or Afzal Mohiuddin, who hasn't got a long-term future with the club. The latter option would mean that I'd sell one of Oakes, Kotze, and Jones later on.

Given you've already said you only want two of these guys long term, and only Kotze really fills the allrounder spot, I think that 5 movement (max skill of 12/5/16?) on Jones is gonna drag him down long term, even with batting and fielding. I'd prefer Oates (11/12/13?). Close call though, both useful No. 8s and late overs bowlers.

Yea I'd go Oakes > Jones as well. Both tail clearers, both with good fielding, Oakes the more skillful bowler. Iceman very useful too and 13 attack can get you some late boundaries.

Testing the theory that batting is king today. All my opponents advantage is in bowling but that's enough to give them a 3k advantage.

So far they're 60/4 (9) which feels like it'll be a competitive but not impossible total

Bert Badenhorst or Aarsh Kedia? Which one shall I pick?

Good wins for ZCC and Dynamo Morpork.

My MTOS where playing mostly a second string team, because I needed to ensure I kept conditioning up for the upcoming ODI and CUP games against the BOTs. Need to win that more and already knew I had zero chance against Oswestry!

Not bad, a 43 bat potential with a 10 fielding.

So what could he be worth on the market? I`m tempted to sell him because I have enough projects at the moment. But only if I get enough for him that makes it worth my while but don't think he will garner a great deal of attention.
