Steve Harmison retires

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Well, this has been coming for some time, Harmy has never really carried his good Test form (when he has had it ) into the ODI arena, but he seemed to carry his poor ODI form straight into the Ashes, it took him three Tests to put in a performance anyqwhere near respectability. For that reason, it's great news - who knows, maybe we'll see more consistency from him in Tests now? Or am I toom optimistic? :D

Optimistic.

Harmison's retirement is a big loss to the England ODI side. He's had his problems, but he's got far more potential than the ODI specialist bowlers we've seen play for England. Maybe it's a question of adaptation. Maybe lack of support while bowling. Maybe just a mental block. Yet, nobody to replace him can ever match him, even in top form.
