James Foster must have given up his hopes of ever playing for England again if they choose a 36 year-old over him.

Im really not sure what to make of this! lol. Im actually a bit shocked even.
He'd already all but said the World Cup was the end for him.

Being left out has hastened his departure.

Darren Gough take note...

LOL at Nixon, got to feel sorry foe Davies and Foster

Hmm Harmy, i guess Sri Lanka aren't going to score 400 against a main team anytime soon.

As far as I know he's not eligible yet.
The current thinking seems to be that he qualified earlier this year under the 4 year rule, but haven't seen anything definitive as yet.

gunner

U19 Cricketer
On one hand they say he doesnt bowl enough,
And now hes retired from ODI cricket?
I dont believe his excuse,
He must really feel homesick,
Theres no point taking him anywhere now
Just play him for home tests and thats it,
This goes to prove that the players are pampered too much nowadays
If this was in the 80/90's then they would have been forced to play or get dropped
And why the hell were they allowed home after ICC Champions Trophy?
Look at the Windies for Example- How long has it been since they came to Asia?

Well back to topic now,

he really shouldnt have retired from ODI Cricket

county season is still months away so i dread to think whats gonna become of him now

I was under the impression he hadn't start for Hamps until 2003 but it seems he began his career there in 2002.
