NEW DELHI: In a major setback to Delhi police, a trial court on Saturday discharged all accused including cricketers S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing case. The court discharged all 36 accused who were arrested by police saying there was no evidence against them.

This may prove nothing more than the Indian Prosecutors dropped a bollock, or maybe through no fault of their own their case fell apart - I shall reserve judgment on Sreesanth until I've learnt a lot more about this - I'm a great believer in the rule of law and innocent until proven guilty etc, but that doesn't alter the fact that in my experience if it looks like a **** it usually is a ****, and Sreesanth most certainly does

I somehow still have a bit of trust in him. I doubt if he would do that and I don't think there was "clear evidence" against him. He gets into a fixing controversy just weeks after he takes a dig against the BCCI for the way it handled the slapgate and supported Harbhajan. It can be a conspiracy against him which ended up doing more damage to the BCCI.

Vindoo gave banned cricketer Sreesanth a clean chit. "I will say he is 100 per cent not guilty. Supposing I am Sreesanth, If I have to give away 14 runs in an over, I will give away two boundaries in the first two deliveries, only then can 14 runs be scored. But he gave only six runs off his first four deliveries — is there a guarantee that two boundaries will be scored off the last two balls?” he argued

This is what I had said about the fixing controversy when it had happened.

I absolutely hate Sreesanth, the display picture I have kept from months also suggest the same, but I always felt that he might be innocent in this case.

People are so easily brainwashed by the media, did people ever see a clear evidence that proved that Sreesanth or the others named were guilty? Absolutely not.
