Bah. Well that didn't last long, did it? My Cheats & Divers come unstuck against Matteh's red-hot Team Matteh, allowing Ben's ***BJ*** to regain the leadership thanks to a straightforward victory over broncoman's struggling PSV Eindhoven. Marc's AA returns draw level on points with Cheats & Divers courtesy of a thumping triumph over Jamee's The Football Foxes. Matteh's win over my erstwhile leaders lifts him up to fourth after Dean's Quintins go down to NZT's resurgent Tawonga Tigers.

At the bottom steds's Foreign FC manage to overcome burkey's Dragons in the ding-dong relegation six-pointer &, sadly, another reverse for our gallant Norwayanese battlers Glimt XI at the hands of Gaurav's Sad Decadent XI.

Manager of the round is Greg whose Tawonga Tigers have run into some storming form over the festive period, returning a fulsome 158 points and muppet of the round is Sam Vimes, sadly failing to fill Egil Olsen's green wellies, returning only 48 for the round.

About time i lost a game.

About a round late IMHO.

Yes, Matteh fails to flourish in the rarified air of the top four & slumps to an embarrassing defeat to Slats's previously struggling Ian Assault. Replacing him in fourth are Oliver's bringbacksven! (a team looking less ironically named with every McClaren game) who down Dean's Quintins. The top three all register wins, but Dav's fifth placed Rod Hull Emu Army come unstuck against steds's Foreign FC in the big Lancs derby, allowing Watson's Cumbrians to move up to fifth thanks to their win over bugs's 13 weeks early who can't buy a win lately.

At the bottom steds's win moves him up to 16th, one place above Jamee's The Football Foxes, who must now be glancing nervously over their shoulders at the bottom three behind them.

Manager of the week is me, my Cheats & Divers getting over their Xmas hangovers to see in 2007 with 170 points, but failing to keep his new year's resolution to be less poo is this week's muppet burkey who registers only 52.

Round 23 ticks by with predictable wins for the top two teams, but Marc's third placed AA returns come unstuck against NZT's ever-improving Tawonga Tigers. Oliver's reverse to Ben's leaders means dream team stalwart Anthony climbs into fourth with a victory over burpey's lowly Dragons. Matteh puts last week's blip behind him to beat steds's Foreign FC & joining them on 45 points are Dav & rick who register wins over Blewy & Ash respectively.

At the bottom there's finally a break in the gloom for Norway! Vimes's boys thrash bugs's rapidly descending 13 weeks early to climb off the bottom on points difference. Burpey's loss means he replaces Glimt XI at the foot. Jamee's The Football Foxes register a useful win over slats's Ian Assault to haul themselves out of trouble, climbing from 17th to a comparitively respectable 14th.

Fittingly manager of the week is our leader Ben with 196 & our muppet is the bottom-dweller burpey with only 52.

Another week rolls by. Big movement at the summit too; with Ben's ***BJ*** going down against Gaurav's Sad Decadent XI my very own Cheats & Divers regain the lead they held very briefly thanks to a sound thrashing of Greg's in-form Tawonga Tigers. Marc fails to gain ground tho with AA returns losing to Oliver's bringbacksven!. Oliver's win lifts him into fifth as Team Matteh show further signs of their bubble bursting with a reverse to Blewy's Who's Alistair?. Anthony remains in fourth as Watson's Cumbrians defeat skd's Rod Hull Emu Army.

At the bottom Norway goes back-to-back! Glimt XI defeat burpey's woeful Dragons to condemn them to the basement for a second week. Good news for Simon's PSV Eindhoven too as they emerge victorious against slats's Ian Assault. Biggest movers tho are steds's Foreign FC, climbing to the relative safety of thirteenth from seventeenth thanks to a win over Jamee's The Football Foxes.

Wenger of the week is me with a respectable 154 points, but losing 6-3 at home to a team of kids is this week's muppet, Greg, with 25, a shocker of a score.

Extremely late update this week; partly due to the midweek games, but mainly down to my not being arsed.

Anyway, it's a great week for my Cheats & Divers as they beat bringbacksven! with a bit to spare and my two closest challengers, Ben & Marc, both come unstuck against rick & Gaurav respectively. Fantasy league stalwart Anthony takes advantage of Marc's reverse to close the gap to just three points which a thumping win over Team Matteh, whose form has seemingly deserted them. Our exiled Lancastrian brother Dav takes advantage of Oliver & Matteh's losses to move up to fifth thanks to a win over Sam Vimes's struggling Glimt XI.

At the bottom there were some real six-pointers; steds's Foreign FC down Simon's PSV to climb another place to the relative safety of thirteenth, Chaulk's Perth Glory best burpey's basement dwellers & Geg's Tawonga Tigers return to form with a win over slats's Ian Assault. There's also a useful win for Jamee's The Football Foxes over Blewy's Who's Alistair?.

Wenger of the week is myself for the second round on the bounce with a healthy 181, but a special mention to Anthony whose 174 was the only other score above 150. Martin Jol of the week is Sam Vimes with a somewhat poorly looking 28.

Earlier update this week. A round where the status quo rather boringly prevailed. Wins for all of the top seven & defeats for all of the bottom seven! So it's pretty much as you were at the top & the bottom.

The only upward movers this week are Team Matteh, who take advantage of the mingrats loss to AA returns & Gaurav's Sad Decadent XI going down to the leaders () to move up to 8th.

Watching his new Norweigan signing score is this week's manager of the round, me, with 211 but seeing his expensive new centre half hobble off is this week's muppet Jamee with only 54.

Bah. Round 27 rolls by with another defeat for my Cheat & Divers. Rick's the mingrats lower my colours & Ben draws level on points at the top thanks to a victory over burpey's last-placed Dragons. There are also wins for Marc & Anthony in third & fourth respectively, but Dav's fifth-placed Rod Hull Emu Army go down to Dean's Quintins who move up to sixth as a result. Replacing Dav in fifth is Oliver whose bringbacksven! defeat steds's Foreign FC.

There's movement at the bottom this week too; Sam Vimes's Glimt XI down Jamee's The Football Foxes to climb above BM's PSV Eindhoven, who were defeated by Watson's Cumbrians.

Manager of the round this week is Oliver, whose 152 is a very healthy return in quite a low-scoring round generally. This week's muppet is Burkey who registers only 35.
