Seemed like Round 28 took forever, but the results are finally up. & there's good news for my Cheats & Divers; they register a comfortable victory over bugs's ailing 13 weeks early, which is enough to once again give themselves a three-point breathing space as Ben's second-placed ***BJ*** go down to The Dav's Rod Hull Emu Army. Also capitalising on GB's woes are Marc & dream team stalwart Anthony, who notch victories over burpey's Dragons & NZT's Tawonga Tigers respectively. Oliver's stay in fifth is a brief one tho, as his bringbacksven! are beaten by Blewy's Who's Alistair?. Taking Oliver's place is Dean, courtesy of Quintins win over Team Matteh.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the CW table, Simon's PSV get up against Sam Vimes's Glimt XI in the huge 18th plays 19th clash. There's also a good win for Ash's Perth Glory who down Jamee's The Football Foxes. Slats remains precariously postioned in 17th tho as Ian Assault are bested by rick's the mingrats.

Winning in the Camp Nou is this week's Benitez, me, with 160 points, but staring nervously at his slap-headed Icelandic chairman is this week's Curbishley, bugs, who can muster only 49.

I'm very happy where I've ended up, considering our form at the start of the season.

Extremely late update for Round 29, mainly on the "me not being arsed" front. Anyway, there are wins for the top two, but our exiled Oldhamovinianite Dav manages to stear Rod Hull Emu Army past Marc's AA returns, meaning Warwickshire's finest loses third spot to Anthony as Watson's Cumbrians defeat bringbacksven! Dean's Quintins are suprisingly held by Jamee's The Football Foxes, allowing both Dav & rick's the mingrats to climb above them.

At the bottom burpey & Sam Vimes go down to defeats to myself & Geg respectively, but Simon's PSV show some signs of life with a win over Ash's Perth Glory. The win isn't quite enough to lift them out of the bottom three tho as slat's Ian Assault beat bugs's now terminal-looking 13 weeks early.

Manager of the round is the season's biggest improver, NZT, whose Tawonga Tigers rack up a very decent 144 in a low-scoring round. Muppet of the week is our Scandinavian challenger Hak who can muster only 27.

Deadline for changes for Round 30 is tonight with the mid-week games, so if you wanna ditch anyone, do it now!
