Na, you won one game by 1 point and have had several low 20 point victories that could easily have gone the other way. If you looked at 100 parallel universes you'd have lost games in 90 of them at the very least.

A win is a win, and had I chosen to, on some occasions I could have won by more but didn't need to change the side to do so - and as it stands that is working quite nicely.

They said it couldn't happen, but finally Marc's perfect "O" had to go. My Cheats & Divers put an end to his 15 match winning streak & take over at the top on points difference.

In the other top of the table clash burkey's Dragons shade Cometer United to leave 3rd, 4th, & 5th together on 36 points. Watsons Blue Army continue their impressive run to consolidate 6th spot by beating The Baconator's The Wheelie Bins. Steds moves back up to 7th with a win over Sriram's Citizen's Erased.

At the bottom there are defeats for Cloete, Peter & Sam Vimes, but Mr Wright surprisingly hauls himself out of the bottom 3 with a win over Hoggy's BunchOfSheilas.

Manager of the week is me with 262 & McCarthy of the week is Samuel Vimes with only 92.

At the bottom there are further reverses for Cloete, Sam Vimes & Mr Wright, but Pete United clamber out of the bottom 3 with a shock victory over Hoggy's now ailing BunchOfSheilas.

The first round of a busy Christmas schedule brings a mixed bag of results for the leaders. There are wins for Marc, Scaly & Anthony with my Cheats & Divers beating the fourth placed Cometer United in the big top of the table clash. Shock of the round tho is burkey's Dragons being unable to shake off their Xmas hangovers & succumb to the resurgent Pete Utd.

In the big clash at the bottom Mr Wright inspires his Rohan Riders to defeat Cloete's Andrew Athletic in a low-scoring thriller but remains in the bottom three on points difference. Another defeat for Sriram means his Citizens Erased are now only kept out of the relegation zone by virtue of superior points difference.

Manager of the week with 219 (for the 4th week in a row, hey, when you're hot, you're hot! ) is me & muppet of the week is Cloete with only 56.

This is ridiculous, I keep scoring a lot of points, but my opponents always seem to score more!

That said, 95 this week is nothing special.

Well the Christmas fixtures arrive rather like Brett Lee (thick & fast…) & another round is now complete. I manage to stumble to victory over Broncoman despite my captain contributing zero (I wonder how many fantasy teams were shafted by Lampard missing a game?!) & in the two big top of the table clashes those old chums Marc & Scaly make it an English double by defeating cometer & Anthony respectively. With Blewy defeating burkey there’s now a nine-point gap between third & fourth.

Bugs’s liverpool show some of their namesake’s form to defeat Steds & move up into 7th & Hoggy registers his first win in an age by beating the ailing Andrew Athletic.

At the bottom there is another reverse for Sam Vimes, but Pete United continue their good form with a win over Mr Wright’s Rohan Riders & Jamee eases his relegation fears by besting Sriram’s Citizens Erased.

Mourinho of the round is Scaly Piscine with 176 (I thought it only fair to give someone else a go… ) & McCarthy of the round is burkey with a distinctly average 44.

In the big top-of-the-table clashes Marc defeats Anthony in a high-scoring thriller & SP overcomes cometer, whose form seems to have slumped alarmingly. I avenge my opening day defeat to The Baconator & burkey moves back up to 4th with a victory over bugs.

At the bottom Sriram gives himself some breathing space with victory over Pete United, but there are defeats for Mr Wright, Sam Vimes & Cloete.

Manager of the round is Marc with 192 (Anthony had the second highest score & was unlucky to be playing Marc) & muppet of the round is Pete with only 75.

He was right to be worried, you know: burkey edges SP by a solitary point in the big 3rd plays 4th clash. Wins for the rest of the top six, with bugs taking advantage of Hoggy's surprising slip-up against Sam Vimes to move above him into 7th. In fact Hoggy slides all the way to 10th due to his inferior points difference.

Sam Vimes's is the only win for any of the bottom five, but Jamee consolidates 15th with a narrow win over Broncoman.

In a relatively low-scoring round cometer's 155 shines like a diamond amidst a mountain of dross, with Mr Wright being this round's Mr Wrong with a rather average 47.
