Big win for my Cheats & Divers over Marc's The AAAS which gives me a six-point advantage with only three games left. Looking good...
Elsewhere SP returns to winning ways with a victory over bugs's now rapidly ailing liverpool but burkey keeps the pressure on with a solid win over Cometer United. Cometer's reverse allows Blewy to slip back into sixth spot courtesy of a thumping win over the now doomed Pete United, but Anthony remains favourite for fifth after he beats The Baconator's The Wheelie Bins .
At the bottom Peter's defeat means he will definitely now join Cloete in the bottom three, but there are useful victories for Sriram & Mr Wright to once again increase the pressure on Sam Vimes.
Manager of the week is once again yours truly (34th overall now, timing that run well!) with 186 & this week's Bryan Robson is Pete with a frankly shocking 35.

Manager of the week is this very low scoring round is Jamee with a half-decent 94 & having ripped-up season tickets thrown at him is Sriram with only 8 (eight). The lowness of the score means I have a vidiprinter moment & write the number out for emphasis!

Just time for a quick update ahead of tomorrow's final round.
Marc & I have second & first respectively already assured, but we both won anyway, just for good measure. Burkey defeats Pete United to remain in third ahead of Scaly Piscine FC who defeated The Baconator's The Wheelie Bins. The battle for third goes to the wire.
Anthony is now assured of fifth spot after Watsons Blue Army down Norway's finest, but Blewy retakes sixth thanks to his win over Hoggy's BunchOfSheilas & cometer's defeat by the champion Cheats & Divers. Eighth is now the best steds can hope for, but he manages a win over Nevawinagame Untd & superkingdave keeps on his coattails by beating Jamee's Foxes .
The battle to avoid the bottom three goes to the wire too. On paper at least anyone from Nevawinagame Untd down could still finish there, but the battle looks to be between the 4 teams stuck on 39 points. Mr Wright currently occupies 18th on points diff, but his win over Cloete's wooden spoonists keeps the pressure on Sam Vimes's defeated Glimt XI. Sriram does his chances a power of good by besting bugs's rapidly declining liverpool in a real six-pointer & joins him on 39.

At the top burkey secures third despite his defeat to Blewy as SP is unable to capitalise, going down to the strong finishing Watsons Blue Army . Steds wraps up 8th by whipping bugs's limping liverpool.
My 141 points isn't enough to stop me slipping to 29th overall, but I'm pretty chuffed with the season all told.
