South Africa team selection

Amla should not go..... but he probably will. Don't want Reeza either.
I've gone Amla, Reeza, Amla to now not wanting both.

Does fielding come into the equation ? You probably go Reeza.

It's tough. The more I think of it, there won't be a rookie. It will be one of those two.

There seems to be lots of chatter around Morris' IPL success. Personally don't think he stands a chance. If he did it would probably be over Nortje than Pretorius which would be disappointing.

There's no reason to pick Reeza over amla. Or reeza at all for that matter. Amla will get in on history I think. Markram and VDD are both somewhat new

Seems to have been unlucky. One of those that dribbles back onto the stumps.
Pity but the fact he is acclimatising to conditions is fantastic for him.

Watching Faf bat in IPL here - man he looks in good touch. He bats 3 all day for me.

I don't think we can afford to pick on his past either because our batting options aren't our greatest ever we ideally can't carry anyone.

He has been poor in CSA T20 but last night was all new levels.

I don't really have an opinion either way on whether he should go. I think he will be going though.

Reeza I've never thought was much good. Always seemed overrated in domestic and has produced nothing in internationals, so I would definitely prefer not to see him in.

That's fair enough. Selectors do have a really tough decision. I could understand either way.

I only have a really negative opinion on Dwaine Pretorius out of the expected players going.

Wonder if de Bruyn has a shot with his form, can play both middle order and open?
Not the worst shout. Those new lasered eyes making him get his x-factor back with the bat.

The lack of real options made me think, might as well get a 2nd wk in but de Bruyn could push Markram/vd Dussen.
