Well we're through to the finals of the Asian cup. Comfortable victory last night even if the scoreline makes the game look closer than it was.

Plenty of Pim bashing going on by the commentary team last night though. Don't know what more they expect from the man. He took our second team to a victory that should have been 4-0 but for Jesus' wasteful finishing. We've qualified for everything we needed to qualify for.

Was flicking through the channels the other night and, with precious little to choose from, settled back with a glass of red to watch an AFC qualifier between Yemen and Hong Kong in arabic

Fair dinkum, it was like watching a match down at the local park where the captain is the fat guy in the MU socks because he is a pom and therefore must know something about the game (or tells everyone he does anyway)

An awful way for Wellington to get knocked out of the A-League it's got to be said. Good to see the Aussie commentary team giving it to Chris Payne and the coach after the game.

Come on, James - they were outclassed regardless. Rubbish decision from the ref and his assistants, but the way the game was panning out, I think it's pretty safe to say Sydney would have progressed anyway.
