Pretty shocking if so. I guess it'll be a while before we get the full story. It'll be interesting to see what sort of performance Wales turn in v The Micks in a couple of weeks. &, of course, to see if Hairgel is back.

Has to be more to it than mere "family reasons". I'd except his missus may be unhappy about the time he spends away from the Ruddock homestead, but would she really be such a ball-breaker as to demand he walked away in the middle of the Six Nations? Doesn't ring true to me.

I'd read there was a boycott of a press conference by yer taff players last week because a BBC journalist was present who was Hairgel's ghost-writer & who'd slagged off the rest of the squad in the programme for the England game. Apparently Ruddock wasn't very HP about it, so that may've brought things to a head.

That would definitely make it interesting. Yer sweaties are actually playing their best Rugby for a few years & we didn't really get into the groove against Italy at all. If I was a betting man I might back Scotland to cover a 13-point spread.

France by 20+
England by 10-15
Ireland by 15-20
