I would go:

  1. Viv
  2. Tendulkar
  3. Akram
  4. ABD
  5. Virat
  6. Pollock
  7. Garner
  8. Dhoni
  9. McGrath
  10. Murali
  11. Dev
  12. Bevan
  13. Gilchrist
  14. Klusner
  15. Ponting
  16. Saqlain
  17. Abbas
  18. Imran
  19. Hadlee
  20. Donald
  21. Waqar
  22. Jones
  23. Flintoff

  26. Warne
  27. Watson
  28. Rohit
  29. Sangakkara
  30. Symmonds

Sachin ahead of Virat as an ODI cricketer as: handy bowler + longevity + impact, solely as a batsman VK is around equal. And ABD ahead for keeping.
Woakes too low but otherwise this is a solid list

HouHsiaoHsien

International Debutant
I feel if India went a little further under Virat and won the WC, he’d be in the top 3 probably due to captaincy since in addition India many won important overseas series under his tenure.

I kinda don't care for overseas ODI tours much anymore.....

I disagree. If he had won the WC i don’t think people would say that. India were a very ruthless side under him
Let's agree to disagree then..... Let alone a WC, India choked in every single tournament since him taking over. The Champions Trophy Final still haunts me......

number11

State Regular
Viv is in a league of his own. As an ODI bat under pressure, Ponting may be 2nd for me. Clutch as anything seen.

Patience and Accuracy+Gut

State Vice-Captain
De Villiers remains imho the best ODI player / batsman of them all. Guy did things that defy description. I know you can talk about championship and those stuff but as a player I don’t believe there has ever been anyone better.
Guy was a freak.
