Can someone help me? How do you master StatsGuru/HowStat to list all the debutants in the '70s for Australia as well as their averages? Or do I need to go the the "Caps" list and look individually at every single player that debuted in the 70s?

Go here and you'll see all the debutants sorted by date, with averages :p

There only seems to be interest in the people who've chosen a team, and if he really wants to do it...

OK, RSA 1960s:

Eddie Barlow
Barry Richards (FC)
*Graeme Pollock
Colin Bland
Lee Irvine
+Denis Lindsay
Ali Bacher
Mike Procter
Peter Pollock
'Goofy' Lawrence
Grahame Chevalier (FC)

A couple of potential problems though:

1) I'm using Chevalier as a FC player because he only played one Test. The problem is that he has no statistics for overs bowled, SR and ER in FC cricket. His no. of wicket and average is available obviously, so it would be possible to take a fairly accurate estimate at SR and ER to result in that average, then overs bowled can be determined from ER.

2) I'm also using Richards as a FC player, as he only played 4 Tests, but all were in 1970. His FC debut however was in 1964/65, so I'm uncertain if I can play him or not.

Otherwise I'm happy with my team. :)

EDIT: Some of those links are wrong. Working on it now.

Geg, I didn't do India, after I wasn't allowed all those FC Statters.

+*Kumar Sangakkara
Thilan Samaraweera
Dinusha Fernando
Jehan Mubarak (FC)
Sujeewa de Silva
Hasantha Fernando
Chamilla Gamage (FC)
Lasith Malinga
Dinuka Hettiarachchi

Ground Conditions

Pace 1

Spin 10

Bowling Order

1 Chamilla Gamage
2 Hasantha Fernando
3 Sujeewa de Silva
4 Lasith Malinga
5 Dinuka Hettiarachchi

I did India anyway with most of your line up, and brought in a player or two, and adjusted stats of the others...

The Lanka team is weird, cuz the top 2 average over 70, and all of the top 4 over 50, but no one else averages over 30, and it's a minefield of a pitch.

it's okay. VC4 has some built in thing to average out players with low matches.
