As for your other problem, if you field 5/6 bowling players in a match it should never get to the batsman that bowl a bit, as long as they are all ranked higer in the order that is.

Well IMO, that's just tough - these stats need to be weighed up as to whether you pick these players in the side or not, I don't see how you can ignore them

TBH Marc I see where your coming from but at the end of the day people that can bowl don't always bowl in everygame.

Look at Butcher, Vaughan, Trescothick, Ponting, Dravid the list goes on and on how offten do you see them bowling in every match just because they can.

I can understand some cases (eg on of Neil's dont want to bowl has like 9 OPM), but some players will only ever be a One Form player and seems harsh to force them to bowl in the other form just because they have a few overs.

At the end of the day it doesn't really effect me so couldn't really care either way, just seems harsh for some managers.

Obviously I don't wish to tell you how to run your own side, but could I suggest that you re-look at your bowling skills and possibly re-submit?

no worries rich2001, i submitted all my bowlers together.. because in case of injury one would step up for the other..

but mainly in the list ive given most of the bowlers on the left.. tait, kumaran , matwamba , harkness, hazare and martyn all will be used as my 4d bowlers and yovich , peters , hazare etc will be used for one day mainly..

so putting them side by side makes it easier for their bowling order and also they can replace for injury when needed ..

but hes not really that good, you now have the basis of a good team to build a pretty impressive 4d outfit around without needing players like blignaut.

To deny the fact he's bowled these would IMO render the whole stats pointless - certainly by now the manager would know about his OPM, so cannot complain if he bowls.

You wouldn't keep using pacemen on a bunsen just because they've bowled.

Oh no Marc - I agree there, if a player has like 9 OPM he is obvious a bowler and what's the point of him in the team otherwise.

All iam saying is the players with like 2-4 overs who obviusly just batsman that are occsional bowlers at the best, shouldn't be forced to they should be up to the manager if they wont to add them or not, I total agree all front line bolwers should bowl or at least be on the list.

Example, in my team I have VVS Laxman who has a over in OD cricket, now when was the last time you ever saw him bowl? and to make it worse that 1 or 2 overs whatever it was had a S/R of like 80. I don't see how anyone could class him a occsional bowler, and I should be forced to give him the oppotunity to bowl just because he has that 1 over he probley bowled in some dead match like 10 years ago.
