Surrey 4 day:

1 Collymore, Srinivas, Giddins
2 Wickarama, Petal, Wagg
3 Thomas, Parker, Agarkar
4 Wilkes, Javed, Lambert

And 1 Day:

1 Agarkar, Lambert, Javed
2 Srinivas, Thomas, Petal
3 Wickarama, Wagg
4 Wilkes, Parker, Collymore, Giddins.

The other 4 do not bowl.

2 questions that need clarifying GB.

1. If a player has a number of overs, then they are a bowler, and should surely be given a bowling ranking - it might be the lowest of them, but at the end of the day, this player has these stats, and they cannot be ignored?

2. Where people for example pick bowlers as 1, 2, 3, 4 then 7, 8, 9 - what difference does that cause as compared with just going 1 to 7.

The answers to these may mean I wish to edit my orders.

Id like to see this!!!!!
His a back-up to my back-ups... and yes I have two WK's so if the situation with injuries got really really bad I could play the 2nd WK as the WK and Tresco as a batsman, Simple :)

1/ If a player has bowling stats They MUST have a ranking, I saw your post in the WCC Staff forum but misunderstood you, however, i get what you mean now...
A team can put a player with Bowling stats as a number 8 bowler BUT they MUST have a ranking, when im going through each team if i see that a player has bowling stats and they have not been given a ranking, i am putting them as a Number 6 bowler...

2/ There is no real difference as they are leaving out the number 5 and 6 so if they need to get that low on their bowlers it will change nothing from if they put 1-7...

Hope this clears it up...

No this is where you decide on who you want to bowl where...

There will be the option Mid season to change your orders if you wish, but that is it...

If they have no career bowling stats they can be set not to bowl(obviously), but for the guys who have bowling stats in your case Ryan i will set them to 7 so they are after your main bowlers..

Obviously I don't wish to tell you how to run your own side, but could I suggest that you re-look at your bowling skills and possibly re-submit?

Like I say it's your choice and if that's how you want it that's fine, but there are a few very strange calls in there. However I am seeing a way that it would work, just depends if you pick certain players

They cannot be set to not bowl, only set so the likelihood of them bowling is low.
I don't like this rule :P

Most guys have career bowling stats and when you have a load of young, inexperienced, not many matches per game bowlers in your side, it messes things up as the youngsters still only bowl 7/8 and the useless veterans have a few, preventing the youngsters bowling as much despite their being better and also keeping their overs down.

Meh. Could've phrased that better...

Like Schofield in OD, who you nicked off my nose in the draft and are now wasting.

Neil would it work if you did your order as say:

- Name A, Name B
- Name C, Name D
- Name E, Name F
- Name A, Name B
- Name C, Name D
- Name R, Name S
- Name Z, Name Q

That way as it works down the list it automatically goes back to the strike bolwers and in theory it could never get to the rubbish players ;)

Or would that confuse the poor computer ;) - So you get what you want of all bowlers being sumited, but you also get the saftey of lesser bowlers hardly ever getting thrown the ball other than when your 650/1 behind etc
