Scorecard Draft

Whatever it takes!!!
True...sympathies with marc71178, he had a really tough scorecard to play with...
so did I :(

I had in mind a certain allrounder who will definitely qualify as > than decent, and that might have taken us all the way down to the 20s :) . But Briggs was too good to pass on. :)

Billy Barnes

2nd Test: England v Australia at The Oval, Aug 11-12, 1890 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com

Looks like a decent pick to be #9 for my team.

Honest Hunks so far

-
-
Wally Hammond - 7249 runs @ 58, 83 wickets @ 38
-
-
-
Richard Hadlee - 3124 runs @ 27, 431 wickets @ 22
Billy Barnes - 725 runs @ 23 (with a test hundred), 51 wickets @ 16
-
Johnny Briggs - 815 runs @ 19 (with a test hundred), 118 wickets @ 18

Once again, mighty pleased to get a fast medium bowler and WTH is that average??? I know uncovered wickets and all that but seriously to average 16 as a fast bowler with 51 wickets!!!!!!!

I really hope that by the time my turn comes again,we are atleast in the post world war 1 era .

Otherwise i have absolutely no idea who i am going to pick.

Balancing the team will be really tough in this draft too at the end.

GI Joe, can you try and put me in a decent spot next round to help not slow down the draft? I'll be offline from this coming thursday until the tuesday.

Difficult selection this round - I was hoping that I might've got a scorecard in which Blackham didn't play and had him as a possibility for my selection. I will have to go with Billy Bates though, who took 50 wickets in 15 tests as an offspinner at an average of 16.4, and can bat a bit too - I admit to knowing little about him but I'm not left with much choice!

Good choice. I thought you picked the same guy as HB for a second.
