Scorecard Draft

Lohmann is a great acquisition at this stage. Who knows, he might have well been the best bowler in history.

I needed a fast bowler at this stage. So, would have chosen Lohmann over everyone of the pre-WWI era except Barnes (even the old man, if he were available to me) at this stage. Good that Trumble was picked just before me.

Team so far:
George Headley
Adam Gilchrist+
George Lohmann

It is going to be very interesting waiting for the draft to cross back over the WW2 divide.

I think currently we are simply pillaging all the pre WW2 players, before we move back again. Numerous players played both sides of the war who I would consider in the Top 200 cricketers of all time, shouldn't be an issue to move back again.

It would be great if Cevno makes his vote within the next 2 hours, otherwise I'll be in bed.

Yeah it was almost impossible to stop really, looking forward to seeing who Noble One picks if Cevno picks who we think Joe.
I can think of two very fine players who can get us back to the post WW1 era in two consecutive picks should Cevno pick him. I dare say those three consecutive picks would be the pre-war equivalent of the Sobers-Miller-Bradman picks we had earlier.

Cricketer Of The Year
Some magnificent legends of the game picked up in the last half-dozen tips or so - its a shame I've missed the likes of Grace, Barnes, Lohmann, Spofforth, etc. in this very early period of test cricket though I still have my eye on a few historic greats providing I get a good scorecard from Himannv.

NUFAN

Wish Cevno had of used Grace's last Test. No idea who Noble One would have picked then!

My prediction: After 10-20 more picks, we'll come back to post WWII era; and will probably never revisit the pre-war (at least not pre-WWI) era. If that is the case, I'd like the number to be 20, and not 10.
