Scorecard Draft II

weeman27bob

International Vice-Captain
Of the 25 picks so far we've had:

7 West Indians
6 Australians
5 Indians
2 Pakistanis
2 Sri Lankans
1 Saffer.
1 Kiwi
1 Englander

9 Bowlers
7 All rounders
6 Batsmen
3 Keepers

Hope all that maths adds up.

Over the next few rounds, I suspect we might well see a few more English players picked, and probably less West Indians. I expect the number of all rounders picked to drop fairly dramatically, and the number of batsmen picked to increase.

first i get to choose from a 3rd rate SC and now I am 2nd t o last to have a pick :@
But you have an awesome scorecard now and plenty of legends to choose from. Dravid is quite a good pick. He's one of the better one drop batsmen out there.

It's kind of impossible to avoid spiralling backwards. Can see why you wanted post 1900 only now.
Yep, and the trend of picking good players will leave us with only "not so good players" when we're looking for a way back. Not too much is known about the players back then.

As for picking Bradman, since I've decided to sim games to decide the result I guess he could have been involved. Having said that I'm averse to editing the rules any more, so lets stick with what has been decided. Still I dont think its a big issue, people can still build a good team without him.

Whats taking smalish?? He was here earlier on but didn't make a pick.

Yeah, the Pre-WW2 era will see a lot of English cricketers snapped up. Really only two teams with 95% of the great players from that era.
