New Zealand chasing this down easily. Shows the talent gap between Starc/Cummins/Hazlewood/Zampa and Neser/Richardson/Abbott/Lyon.

Somers Somerville is playing today. Seems odd for NZ to reveal their secret weapon for next summer's tour so early

Dermo Sabba Abbott will get a WC call up and will dominate, before going on to be leading wicket taker on either side in the Ashes. ahead of Cumminss, Starc, Lyon, Haze, Clouderson and Broad (in that order)

Btw its dumb that they replaced Richardson with Richardson. MMarsh shoulda come in

Smarsh doing his best to play himself out of the side. Probably will miss out tbh. Stoinis will pip him because he can bowl (not well, but he does do it)

Smith has hit some form in the warm ups. 89* followed by 91*.
the one thing that was looking bad for Australia is now fixed.

even starc is bowling proper heat.

semi finals at worst imo, but won't be surprised if they win the whole thing.

Australia was comprehensively beaten by a New Zealand B side three days ago. Nowhere near favourites.

Starc only bowled 5 and Lyon played, plus Will Young is in God mode.

As I see it the weaknesses are that the bowling is weak other than Starc and there’s a lack of an AR that’s better with the ball than Max/Stoinis.

The batting looks alright imo. Even Maxwell’s in decent touch.

I knew our batting hadn't been great but I didn't know our bowling had been quite that bad. Might be the pitches, lack of spinner and constant 'B' team selections.

It's insane how England are making 300+ on average . That's taking into account the lollapses.

Random thought: the run up to World Cup is like Martin Snedden's; excessively long and frustratingly slow.
