It looks like Voltman is a selection down but everyone else is as per the order. Only 21 picks left so not long to go.

Francis

State Vice-Captain
You're just unbelievable Indipper. I was going to pick him but I wanted Roux to shore up my midfield defence instead. I strongly considered having a Maso/Butterfield centre combination.

Golly I think you have just won this thing!

How does a German man know so much about rugby?

For one thing I'm a German woman but your doubts are justified. There is almost no rugby coverage in Germany. I lift all my information from Paul Morgan's History of Rugby (there is a neat ATXV in there with shortlists for positions) and the internet. The only player on my team I knew before this thing started was Blanco.

Now I'm pissed. You picked my favourite rugby player Of All Time, Ieuan Evans and now you're saying you hadn't even HEARD OF HIM!?!? I'm incredulous.

That's what I hate about the internet - people don't actually have to think for themselves - they can Google "great rugby players" and all of a sudden they're in a battle. I had heard of all 13 of my players (thus far) at least 4-5 years ago whereas some of you are throwing up Jerry Collins as an all-time great? Dear oh dear.

/rugby snob mode.

This isn't really a very deep draft; I don't think that taking Jerry Collins in the eighth round makes him an all-time great...

Hey I didn't google anything. I paid money. For a book. Is there a more legitimate way to learn about something than to read about it? I think not. Now where is that apology you owe me Mr. Voltman if that is your real name.

Think there's always gonna be a natural tendancy to favour players one's seen for this type of thing. The majority of my team is based around players who've played in my years of watching with a few exceptions for genuine greats.

I've also tried to get at least one player from each of the foundations unions, but Ireland may yet elude me.

A) I don't believe I directed it specifically at you and
B) of course "Mr Voltman" isn't my real name. It's Murray. Murray Jones.

99*

International Debutant
Hmm, going to pick someone out of position, just not sure who it should be.

I'll go with Jeremy Guscott (#12), the transition from outside centre to inside centre is not as bad as fullback to inside.

Leaving me with a wing to finish off.
