Well assuming France and Germany get past their games this round, there will be at least one other European team in the last four.

Haha, I thought it was great. I wouldn't wish defeat to Greece on any time I particularly liked mind you. It's just that my attitude towards Portugal in 2004 was much the same as my current attitude towards the current Brazil side. Big Phil a significant contributing factor on both occasions.

Well, that was annoying. But mainly I just think the bloke is a jerk.

The final was kind of fun but them winning the tournament was actually fairly dire. Czech Republic were a great side that year,

Yeah, agree with this. In the circumstances I thought the Greece win was hilarious fun. There were definitely better sides who I would have rather seen win per se though. Czech Republic and Netherlands were both good.

Always remember that tournament for the England against France though. Mainly because of the hilarious implosion.

Actually, come to think of it, England lost that game because of a crazy Gerrard pass back to David James. The warning signs were there!
