Disagree tbh. His ineptitude behind the stumps is significant almost to the point of legendAs much as Smith is an excellent batsmen and good person ,his tendency of late to tell the media his feelings only puts more pressure on himself. If he feels that his body language is poor, why not work on it behind the scenes instead of letting the world know? this is a sign of weakness ..if he feels that Peter Neville is too quite behind the stumps why not let him know personally ,his public comments may hinder Neville's performance instead of improving it but it also affects the whole team negatively. This sort behaviour is not good for AUS cricket and it does seem that team culture is slowly being eroded. The AUS legends of the past had the right to chirp because they had the skill to back up their words and always showed it. What is the use of being a loud mouth when you are utter useless on the field. 3 or 4 years ago When David Warner decided to focus more on his technique instead doing more talking we saw him achieve great things with the bat and find more consistency in his game, so now when he has the odd word he has earned the right to talk....and then you compare that to Mathew Wade who only talks **** behind the stumps but has done nothing of significance in test cricket. Steve Smith must control his emotions and keep it to himself ,and maybe try to emulate iconic captains like Steve Waugh or Graeme Smith who weren't the greatest of batsmen but were the type of leaders men would follow into battle, even if it were to their sure deaths.
How dare you.Is that confirmed?
Cricinfo only reporting his tour is in doubt and a decision will be made in a couple of days.
