Cummins/Haze broke his arm. Was a nasty-sounding crunch too, right on the bony part of the elbow. Fortunately prevented the ignominy of being bowled out for 36 too.

Shami did not bowl that well even in the one innings he bowled last time, did he? He was really good in the 2018-19 series but that's all we are going by, right?

I think he is definitely a big miss but hopefully Akashdeep can stand up and do well.

What makes Shami such a major asset is that he can simultaneously be a workhorse apart from being a strike bowler. Also, he maintains consistent speeds throughout the day at 138-142 clicks and bowl long spells.

Guy is mentally weak . I don’t think mentally fragile cricketers do well in Aus . I fear for him against Marsh and Head .

Dayal was very ordinary in Irani trophy & frankly Left arm pace is overrated concept in test cricket. Just pick your best Pacers.
And Prasidh had a ordinary game too.

H Rana is in T20 squad & a good performance will be enough for him to make the trip. He will surely play to 4 day A tour games before test series.
GG's familiarity with him will help.
