Um let's see:
- Unifying the most divisive team in cricket
- Taking a mid low tier team and taking it to the top tier to the point it can challenge WI for the top spot with far fewer resources than Lloyd
- Handpicking and grooming a next gen of cricket legends of Waqar and Inzi and others. They wouldn't have careers without Imran. Far more involved in that process than any other captain.
- Other aspects of influence include reverse swing and neutral umpires
Arjuna Ranatunga had a similar impact

For me he was more of a leader than a captain

- He took a low tier team and made them world champions

- He revolutionised one day cricket

- He hand picked the next stars in SL cricket

- Muttiah Muralitharan became one of the biggest legends in cricket and none of it would have been possible without the backing of Arjuna

- One of the bravest captains who took on the Aussies even off the field without the financial backup of the board

I agree. Ranatunga is up there. Even Ian Chappell praises him as a leader. He and Imran are ATG captains IMO.
