He did. But a tad short for LBW/bowled. And plus he wasn't getting outswing mostly.

It's the outswing + incutter changeup which has done for Tendulkar this series.
yea thats how anderson's got him this series. and broad's done him with pokes outside off-stump
however they have to try to change things up a bit i feel. either prior has to come up to the stumps to stop him from batting outside his crease or tremlett has to come back into the line-up and do his thing. if they go with exactly the same line-up and same tactic then it prob won't work again.

bring tremlett back imo. i want to see him bowl.

India need to stop prioritising the cashcow that is IPL and get back to what they did before. The IPL is too long with too many games and the travelling involved is too much. The players may only be on the park for a few hours every other day but the travel involved must take it out of them.

Too many of the Indian players haven't had a break of late, after winning the World Cup they went straight to IPL then WI and now England. They look mentally shot as well as being physically done in. We go on about preparing for tours properly well that doesn't just include enough games before the internationals it means resting up properly between tours and India haven't had that.

Yes they have problems with the bowling but that can change, Ishant isn't too bad just looks done in, PK is useful and there are a few spinners who could play that are better than Mishra (and won't overstep) so all is not lost. They are still a good side, just missed Sehwag getting them off to a flyer more than they could ever have imagined.

The gap will be narrowed substantially by a decent tour of SL by OZ, though. And if Zaheer misses out......

particularly agree with this comment in the comments section....I was thinking the exact same thing...

"I know he didn't do it on purpose, but Ian Chappell sure knows how to bait Indian fans. Even if his arguements are quite reasonable (they are), there's something about the name Chappell which gets Indian blood boiling :)"

Gary Kirsten looks like a tough act to follow so I think Fletcher might have a bit of a torrid time as coach of India. Never thought he was the type of coach who was ideally suited to the job.

Honesly I think the key thing to do is not to over react. India at home are a far stronger team plus they have a good set of players, both young and old, who can step up and win games for them.

Broad would've had him LBW if the umpires had bothered to give him.

He has a history with us, and has had his "Bun&Broad" moments before too.. so not surprising he'll take the slightest opportunity to have a go.

Waiting for Gideon Haigh to come up with a scathing assessment of the IPL and it's effect on our team.

For years I thought the same but with England, any compliment has a back handed dig to it.

He just hasn't the slightest idea what he's talking about, he's a total idiot. They only employ him to cause controversy. He's a professional troll.
