Pretty hard to look beyond SRT, it 'most probably' is his last English tour and so he would want score a lot runs and if he is on song then he would be pretty hard to stop. For England Trott is most likely to score big runs, would have said Cook or Strauss but with Zaheer back in the Indian attack its pretty hard to see the English left-handers doing too well in this series.

So let me try and understand what you're saying. Kohli got picked for tests based on his ODI performance and failed, meaning if Yuvraj gets picked for this series based on ODI for he will score 500 runs and do well. That's what it's coming across to me as, whether its your intention or not.

ODIs and Tests are completely different games, just because Yuvraj played well in the WC doesn't mean this form is any more likely to translate to the tests. We saw it with Kohli, beast ODI player but didn't acclimatise to tests well at all. Conceivably, the same thing could happen to Yuvraj.

Conversely, his form could carry over and he could score a couple of thousand runs at 400 in the series, but I think that's a bit less likely given his test record and temperament. 8000 ODI runs count for next to nothing in Tests.

Cook to top the runs tally. His form is way too good to bet against.

What I am trying to say is that he can perform well in tests too.Whom am I to confirm that.We will see what happens.We can only expect.And no one will doubt Yuvraj's abilities.What I am trying to say is purely on his abilities & current form.I am not taking into account his past test record.

You edited your post from 3 to 4 anyway, can't be that sure.
